What Courses Should I Take to Make Money Fast – Cold Calling

What Courses Should I Take to Make Money Fast – Cold Calling

If you don’t want to read it, you can watch this video.

Here’s something you don’t ever hear anybody talk about on YouTube, and it’s because they don’t do it.

When you have a good sales process, you can have someone tell you “No” in 2017 and then say “Yes” in 2019 if you have a good sales process in place.

Cold calling is one of the fastest ways to put money in your pocket. Depending on your business and your product, you could go out today and cold call and go home with a few hundred or a few thousand dollars in your pocket.

I’ll start at the beginning. I have my own companies, and I act as a part-time CEO for a few other companies. I’ve been extremely busy. So, what’s happening here is that the Hustler’s Kung Fu blog is going to be a very rich resource for a lot of things.

The question I get all the time is, “What course should I take?” I really can’t tell someone without sitting down and talking to them.

What is happening right now at the Hustler’s kung Fu blog is there will be a blurb about what the course will do for you. I have a bunch of courses available on Gumroad. With the blog, I can take each course or book and put it on a separate page and you can just go ahead and read it. The page will say, this is for someone trying to do this.

On Hustler’s Kung Fu, there’s going to be beginner type information. The information will be about how to start a business and how to hustle. The Uber book will be there. The Craigslist stuff will be there.

The prices will be between $5 and $50. It will be really affordable for most people.

If you buy a book and really do the work, you will make way more than the cost of that book. Way more. You can do it in a day.

One of the things I’ve found to be a big challenge with people is there are so many folks who just don’t want to work. They are looking for some push button success method. It just doesn’t exist. If something like that does exist, you are going to have to have stacks of money to buy it.

That’s why companies buy established businesses. It’s cheaper to buy that readymade situation than to create it in some cases. That’s why Facebook bought Instagram.

For those of you who want more advanced stuff, that stuff will be coming for B School for Hustlers. If you don’t already have a business, you don’t want to sign up for that stuff. In B School for Hustlers, there’s no beginners’ stuff.

For everyone who signed up for the early version of B School for Hustlers, you are going to be emailed with your login information. It’s going to happen in the next few weeks. B School is being moved from Thinkific to Teachable.

The Paid Traffic course alone will be worth 20 times the money paid.

With Hustlers Kung Fu, there’s going to be more interviews. There’s going to be very different subject matter. I am pushing for two to four videos each week.

If you want to be alerted to new videos on B School for Hustlers, get on my email list below.

Mack Daddy Media is going to be about video marketing stuff. It will cover video marketing, content creation and course creation.

For guys who like the mental game, Personal Development for Hustlers is something you should check out. I’m going to go hard on that channel. There’s going to be some stuff you’ve never heard me say.

The creation of eBooks and audio books is going to be on the Rich Self Published Author channel.

Let me talk about the cold calling course. If you have a business already, you want this course. Here’s a little secret that a lot of people won’t tell you about online marketing. If you are a well-known company, then marketing online is easy. If no one knows who you are, then cold calling will get you more business, faster and cheaper than online marketing. There’s a point when you are scaling up when online marketing will kick cold calling in the ass.

If you are really struggling to get business, cold calling is the way to go.

Let me just flesh out what cold calling is. Anytime you introduce your business or yourself to someone you don’t know, it’s cold calling.

Referrals are when someone else introduces you or lets you use their name when you introduce yourself.

If you use content marketing out there and someone finds you on a website or a place like HustlersKungFu.com, that is inbound marketing.

You’ve got to know these terms. You’ve got to invest in the sales process.

Now, marketing is saying… “Hey. We exist and we do this.”

Sales is… “Hey, we exist. We’ve observed your business and we have a solution to your problem. Let’s sit down and talk about it. If you like what we have to say, then let’s close the deal.”

Sales is a process. Marketing is pushing your company out into the world. Both are very important. Marketing and sales are not the same thing. They’re not.

There are huge marketing departments that work on finding channels to advertise and buying media. There are so many different aspects to marketing. Sales is closing the deal and getting the money.

Sometimes your marketing can be so good that a customer finds your site through inbound marketing efforts and then clicks and buys. That’s great sales. It’s not cheap, but it’s a low-cost way to get customers.

That’s the stuff we’re going to talk about in Cold Calling.

You can’t go through the sales process unless you have a customer in front of you. How do you get a customer in front of you? You’ve got to go out and find a customer in the marketplace. We’re going to talk about all that. We’re going to cover picking up the phone, writing emails and how to use CRM or Customer Relationship Management software.

When you have a good sales process, you can have someone tell you “No” in 2017 and say “Yes” in 2019.

One of my mentors always said, “We need sales today. We need sales next month. We need sales next year.”

Cold calling is going to be important for you guys with service businesses. It’s going to be important for you guys who have stores. It’s going to be important for you guys who sell on Craigslist.

If you are selling face to face, you need this course.

Cold calling is the fastest way to put money in your pocket. It’s hard, but if done correctly, you’ll never be broke or hungry. If you become great at cold calling, you can get rich.

The Most Powerful Way to Make Money Online Ever

The Most Powerful Way to Make Money Online Ever

Today we are going to talk about the most powerful way to make money online or in any business EVER! EVER! EVER!

If you don’t want to read it, you can watch this video.

So, if there’s someone you care about, be sure to share this video right now on your Facebook and other places so other people can see what you’re learning.

With that, let’s jump into it.

You’ve got to have an audience. Here’s a screenshot of a YouTube video, Homeless Millennial Survives By Picking Up Woman Every Night. What he is doing is utilizing the power of audience. This guy is literally homeless and his audience is women. He has a lot of free time and he has some dysfunction – there’s no doubt about that.

But he has studied his audience. He has no job, no car, no home and he’s getting more pussy than guys making $200K to $300K for FREE.

This is his game. He takes a bath, right. And he puts gel in his hair. He’s not smelly. He doesn’t have poor hygiene. He’s sleeping with two to three different women every week. If the sex is good, he can house up there for three of four days.

This really gets into what we’re talking about with audience. Here’s a guy that’s homeless and he’s getting a ton of pussy. Let’s just say he sleeps with two women a week. That’s 110 women a year. It’s all about his audience.

What does the average woman want to sleep with a dude?

It’s not a big dick. That’s a plus. But, that’s not it.

She wants to feel safe and secure and cared about. That’s what the average woman wants. I’m not talking about super freaks. I’m talking about the average girl.

This guy knows his audience and has no job, no home, and no car. He panhandles and gets about $100 to $150 a day on the street.

He has developed a protocol to approach women. He doesn’t lie about his stuff. He doesn’t lie about how he lives.

I remember this girl. I was working at the Gallup organization. I used to be that person that called you at dinner time and asked you questions. There was this girl that I worked with and she was so cute. One night we were walking out together and I told her, “You are so fucking beautiful that I want to make passionate love to you tonight.”

She just kind of looked at me and said, “Really?”

I came to find out that baby girl had some self-esteem issues. She had a low point that day and I said the magic words that opened up the pussy combination.

She said, “Your place or mine?”

I said, “I’ll go with you Boo.”

She had a car, I didn’t. I went to her place. I learned a lot from that thing. I won’t show you her picture. You wouldn’t believe it if I did. But you would think this girl had some self-esteem issues. This is part of knowing your audience.

If you know your audience, you can do so much more with less.

Once you know how your audience behaves, you can create compelling copy.

The power of audience, the power of systems, the power of protocol – this is how you make a lot of money.

Many people do the reverse. They come up with a plan to sell something because they can get it very cheaply. Your audience doesn’t give a fuck if you got it cheaply. You can’t even give something away for free if they don’t want it.

Question: How do you do market research?

Answer: I go to websites. I look at audience. It would take hours to explain all that I am going to explain in the Ecommerce course if you get the Never Broke Action Pack.

Building audience is about giving people something they want. Audience building takes an investment in time and people. A lot of people just won’t do that.

One of the reasons I’m in this media business is because it goes along with my personal proclivities. I’m a lifelong reader. I have read over 4000 books in my lifetime. As a little kid, I read every day. This is what I like to do. That’s why I can do this every day.

Many people don’t know what they want to do. They try and do all of this stuff and it doesn’t resonate with who they are as a person, and then they give up.

Question: My affiliate website hasn’t generated any money. What should I do?

Answer: Affiliate marketing is just as hard as building your own company. If you aren’t putting in the amount of effort you would to build your own company, you probably won’t make any money.

The money is in the audience. The homeless dude is banging badass chicks. Think about that.

Question: How do you find committed partners to work with?

Answer: You’re going to have to learn how to hire people. It’s a process. It’s a system. You’re going to make some bad decisions. The best way to learn how to make good decisions is to make a lot of bad decisions. That’s your learning path.

The more I fuckup, the more money I earn. It’s called the learning curve. The stuff that you can pull off when you don’t really care what people think about you is amazing.

When you do what others don’t do, you get results they don’t get.

Question: What do you think about self-published book or manuscripts sent to movie producers and what are the chances for success?

Answer: They aren’t looking for you Boo. I’m going to show you someone. She’s amazing. The Mis-adventures of Awkward Black Girl was her YouTube channel that she started in 2006. She got a lot of heat because it was about a black girl dating a white guy. She worked her ass off for a long time. Now she has a HBO show. That’s a road map for you.

Fuck sending in a manuscript. If your work is good – put it out there.

What you have to do today from a creative standpoint is put your shit out there and let it do what it’s going to do. If it stinks, ok. Rewrite it and put some better shit out there.

When your shit is good, they will come looking for you.

I got an offer for not one book deal, but two. I didn’t go looking for those motherfuckers – they came and found me because I was visible.

Get visible.

Do what you need to get what you want.

The money is in the audience. I’m an educational and media company. I’ve made a decision. I’m staying in my lane. Since I’ve made that decision, I am making more money than when I ran paid traffic.

Be sure to get a copy of the Never Broke Action Pack.

The Challenges of Starting a Business – The Big Push – What to Do When Things Go Wrong

The Challenges of Starting a Business – The Big Push – What to Do When Things Go Wrong

If you don’t want to read it, you can watch this video.

Have you ever had a day when everything was just incredibly hard? Have you ever had a week, a month, three months or a year like that? This video is about how to handle that stuff so you keep pushing and you can make that money.

Sometimes when you are building a business, everything goes wrong. I call that the “Big Push.” There’s this period of time when the big things, the little things and everything is just a struggle. Getting people to do what they used to do and fixing simple issues becomes difficult.

Now many people mistake this for bad juju saying things like, “God didn’t want me to have this.” That’s not it. What you are doing as a person is completely reorienting yourself with your universe. You are making massive changes.

The thing is, when you are starting a business, it pulls on so many of your resources as a human. It pulls on your spirit. It pulls on your soul. It pulls on your finances. There’s just nothing it doesn’t touch. It pulls on your relationships. Everything is being impacted in a major way. That’s a huge transformation. I mean, it is an incredible transformation.

If you go ahead and develop yourself and start a business and really push, you will experience more action points in a few years than most people experience in a lifetime. You are really speeding things up.

I’m going through this now. It’s been so long since I’ve experienced this. I haven’t started new things recently. Lately I’ve been working on an extension of something or a revision of something.

But, I am starting completely new things now, going in a new direction. I am going through it.

Simple stuff is bothering me. One of my pet peeves is people who wait until the last minute to pull into the turn lane and leave the ass of their car hanging out. To me, that’s just an abomination. I don’t know why people do it. But it happens. But now, it’s happening more than ever. The reason is because I am out here more, driving more.

Then I had an issue with my bank. I’ve never been late on my card. It is in great standing. I made a huge payment. The payment cleared, but they didn’t apply it to my account. When I went in, this is where it started to get really long and drawn out. Each time I talked to someone, I got a different answer. One person even lied to me on the phone.

So, I went in the other day and told them, “You need to do something for me to keep this account because you people are putting me through a lot of drama.” They wouldn’t do it. So, I closed the account because I was treated unfairly.

Then there were some business issues. There were delays and you start to question whether this thing is worth having. You have to remind yourself, it’s not you. It’s what you are doing. Many people who haven’t started a business before and who don’t have an entrepreneur in the family to reassure them that this stuff is normal, suffer.

I call this the “Big Push.” It’s like you are fighting against glue. It’s like you are walking in mud. If you’ve ever walked in mud, you know that every step is a struggle. It takes ten times the effort to take a single step. You are like, “Damn, I want to get out of this muddy patch.” You are in that mud field of entrepreneurship. Many people tap out.

They say, “This is too much. I wasn’t built for this. I shouldn’t be doing this. This is crazy.”

I can’t say when your mud field is going to end.

Lately, mine has gotten better. I’m on the shallow end now. It’s not as deep. But, for the last 12 weeks, stuff’s been happening. I’ve been trying to load up courses. The site didn’t work. I’ve got people trying to sign in and the apps don’t work. Every day, it’s been that kind of stuff.

Then, I sat down and told myself, that’s ok. I’ve been here before. What we’re going to do is work harder, not cut back, not slow down. I doubled my efforts. When I doubled my efforts two weeks ago, things started to get done.

That is what I mean when I tell you guys that a lot of people who use the word “easy” when they talk about starting a busy, obviously have never started a business.

I don’t know if anyone that I consider to be extremely successful has had an easy path accumulating wealth, building a durable business. When I say a durable business, I mean one that is not based on a trend.

Right now, these finger spinners or whatever they’re called, that’s a trend. A bunch of people are making a lot of money on that. The market is getting flooded. People can’t find them. The company that is making them is making a lot of money real fast.

That’s different than the drycleaners that’s been on the same corner for 25 years. That’s a durable business. That business has been profitable year in and year out.

Many people like the trendy stuff because you can stick and move. You can jump in and make some stuff happen really fast and get that money. But trends fade out.

Building a real business takes real work, commitment, effort and courage.

If you are building something and it seems like everything that could go wrong does go wrong, it’s not you. It’s what you are doing. It’s what you are creating. It’s normal.

As an entrepreneur, chances are you are the only one in your family or circle who is doing this. You may not have anyone to talk to about this stuff. My suggestion is to go out and make some entrepreneur friends that you can talk to.

If shit’s going wrong, people are saying “no” and doubting your abilities, then you are on the right path. If your family and friends are trying to dissuade you, then you are on the right path.

That’s your message today. I felt like putting that out there. I got on the other side of the mud field of struggle and I’ve got to tell you, you’ve got to keep going. If you don’t, you’re going to regret every breath you take because you tapped out like a weak little bitch.

If you like the content of this video and you should, go below the video and subscribe to all of my channels: B School for Hustlers, Mack Daddy Media, Rich Self-Published Author, Personal Development for Hustlers and I am Cameron.

There’s going to be a lot of stuff there for you. I can help you make money and get your mind right.

Fear of Failure Holds You Back

Fear of Failure Is What Keeps You in the Same Place in Life

Do you have an inherent, oppressive fear of failure? Mindset is everything. I like to go ahead and Facebook a lot of my favorite authors. Some of them are overwhelmed, but a lot of them will respond to you, and you can have a conversation with them. It’s amazing.

If you don’t want to read it, you can watch this video.

I started thinking that information doesn’t even mean anything to most people. Because there is a ton of it. It’s out there. It’s available. There’s so many things you can do. There’s so many things you can build.

When you go through my training and courses, I give you five to maybe 25%. I’m a map. I’ve got some landmarks. I can dramatically cut your learning curve down on certain things.

However, it still requires that you put forth work. I’ve been having this conversation with a lot of people who are under the impression that everybody that is successful had some kind of advantage that they did not.

There are people who feel if they don’t have immediate success that the thing is rigged and it’s a scam. They believe there is something that is really, really wrong.

Let me give you some background about me. I dropped out of college. I was a “Special Ed” kid from first grade to sixth grade. I had a speech impediment, and I’m dyslexic.

Because my grandmother taught me how to read before I went to school, I never got behind. I couldn’t really speak correctly, but I was in some ways ahead of my peers. Back then if you had any type of learning disability, you got tagged. I got tagged.

There were these trailers and paraprofessionals for kids like me. I would go out there every day and sit with them. They would flip flashcards and work on me. This went on for six years.

Many of you who haven’t experienced such difficulty or roadblocks or struggles are not accustomed to the real face of success which is struggle. Success is struggle.

Your success isn’t when you built the company, sold it or cashed in on it. No, your success was when you were working at 2am in the morning on a line of code or a presentation with no money in the bank, when shit was dire and you still pressed forward. You persisted.

If when you failed, again and again and you persisted, then you were successful.

If you wake up every day and learn something new every day, you are a success.

Let’s go back to the idea that time is the most valuable thing you have. If you spent eight to ten hours of your time including the commute, and you make $25 per hour or $50K a year, then you’ve traded 200 hours a month of your life for $50K. That is 2400 hours of your life when you consider your commute. You literally earned that money with blood, sweat, tears and oxygen. That “struggle cash” you earned is hard for you to part with.

You spent precious resources to get that money so it is very hard to part with.

When I talk to a small business owner, they are still in that “struggle cash” mode. It is very different when you talk to someone who has mentally removed themselves from that mindset.

The resale community is nothing but “struggle cash.” That’s the reason they demand amazing information content for free. They have to have it. It’s part of their survival.

Your days don’t have to be filled with struggle. Making substantial sums of money is not evil or diabolical. If you think that way, that is your own insecurity talking. That is your fear of failure.

Once you get past the “struggle cash” mentality, you realize that this isn’t about being a millionaire or billionaire. It’s about being time rich.

I’ll just tell you, I’ve got members of my family who think I am a criminal. They say things like, “Let me get this straight. You sit at home and you talk on the internet and people pay you for that shit?”

They also say, “That ain’t no job for a real man. You need to be working in the coal mine or the steel plant, or driving a truck or something, earning an honest dollar for a hard day’s work.”

That’s why there is one side of my family I don’t fuck with anymore.

A lot of business owners struggle with a fucked-up family.

Part of your success is realizing that everyone is not going with you. I don’t care how much you feel you owe it to them They are mentally not prepared to move where you are. Once they reach a certain age, they are probably going to stay that way.

I will say something else. The people with the most education make the most money. That’s 100% true. That brings up the question, “What is education?”

People who love learning earn the most. It isn’t about having degrees. There are plenty of people with degrees working at Starbucks.

Another reason for fear of failure is because they are not brave enough to claim the life they could have. Instead, you take the life that is given to you or the life you are presumed you should have. That’s what happens a lot.

Essentially, you have to learn to filter out some of the advice you are given. People will try and help you out based on their understanding of life. Just look at the life of the person giving you advice to decide whether you should take them seriously.

Stop taking advice from people who don’t have shit, from a motherfucker who doesn’t have anything. I’m not talking about money. You can meet someone who doesn’t have anything, but he has travelled all over the world and he is rich in knowledge. You can meet someone who doesn’t have a lot of money, but they have special talents.

When you meet someone, who does nothing and who is not remarkable in any way, when they start giving you advice; don’t listen to them.

Can I teach you how to be a billionaire? Nope. I’m not a billionaire. Can I teach you how to be time free? Yep. I get to do what I choose with my time. That’s how I want it. Time is the greatest resource we have.

For the last seven years, I have been able to do pretty much what I want to do.

Listen to yourself if you are talking to yourself like someone who is terrified of success. Ask yourself why. It’s going to require that you change and that you make certain personnel decisions in your life. People that were permanent hire, they’re going to go to independent contractors, per diem or temp.

With that, have a good day.

YouTube Dying, Trolls, Gangsta Talk, The New Show and Hustling for Beginners

YouTube Dying, Trolls, Gangsta Talk, The New Show and Hustling for Beginners

If you don’t want to read it, you can watch this video.

Today is the first edition of the new daily show. I’m going to get into that. Be sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel and be sure to subscribe to the email list. It’s the first thing below because you’ll need to be on that list to take advantage of some things as we go forward.

Today’s topic is a big one. People are losing their minds. Some say YouTube is dying, and you can’t make any money on YouTube. You have a lot of people who are kind of losing it, which is really strange.

I’m going to tell you my story. I’m going to tell you why I don’t think YouTube is dying. I’m also going to tell you why I don’t think YouTube is going to have any real competition anytime soon. If you want to start a YouTube channel, go ahead and start it.

First thing. YouTube is not dying. It’s not close to dying. It’s the second largest search engine after Google.

For that reason alone, it is going to be really hard for someone to fuck with YouTube.

The number 2 reason is cost. No $50 startup is going to compete. No little apps are going to replace YouTube. When you want to learn how to fix an iPhone screen, where do you go? Facebook? No. You go to Google, then you go to YouTube.

If you want to learn how to do a certain kind of dance, if you want to learn about a new workout, where do you go? You go to Google and then to YouTube.

Do you see where I am going with this? It’s not going anywhere.

Let’s talk about the monetization policy. If you want to practice freedom of speech or edgier topics on YouTube, your chances of being recommended by the YouTube search engines could be in jeopardy. You are not going to get sponsored by ads. That’s not a problem if you are an organic hustler.

Question: What do you think about Facebook ads and using it to get customers?

Answer: Facebook ads can be very powerful if you know what you are doing.

Now, if you want to make money on YouTube, your best course of action is to sell your own thing, whether it’s a book, a course or whatever.

I’m going to show you how I used to keep track of my YouTube stats. This is a journal, right? (Glendon holds up a large journal to show the audience)

On 12/25/2010, I had 39,000 views for the month and I had 190,000 total views on the channel. That year, I made $90K.

So, if you have a product, a service and a targeted group, you can make a lot of money with low subscribers and not a lot of views. Here’s the thing with Facebook and YouTube. Facebook counts a view as three seconds. I believe Facebook ad views are vastly inflated.

I have started four brand new channels. You can watch me in this next year build them out. That shows my high level of confidence in the viability of YouTube.

I’m used to making a lot of money without sponsors. I don’t care.

I’m doubling down on YouTube. The live show is coming back. The goal is to do four streams this week.

A lot of the shows are going to be in different places. They’ll be some shows off the phone. I have an office. The goal is for the show to be in the office. I’m going to start the show as the office is being built.

You’ll get to see me build out Mack Daddy Media which is a video marketing consulting company.

I made a hire for a client yesterday. She started yesterday. Possibly next week, there will be two more hires, an artist and a writer. You’ll get to see those people. You’ll get to see the whole process.

You know I put on here about the troubles with hiring people. You don’t hear a lot of people talking about that.

If you want to do a YouTube channel, start one. It’s not going anywhere. For someone to seriously take on YouTube, they’re going to need a nut of $50 million or more because if you look at Snapchat or Instagram, their functionality is pretty singular. You take pictures; you post. They don’t have a whole lot of things going on.

I have well over 2000 videos across a few channels. If I had to pay the hosting for that and I’m going to go way back to 2009, I would be looking at $20K to $30K a month for the bandwidth.

That’s incredibly powerful. Plus, when you factor in the reach of YouTube, it’s incredible.

There’s another reason YouTube isn’t going anywhere. People are like… “Shit, I want to be put on. I want someone to see me. I want to get some fame.” They’re going to create YouTube channels.

In 2009, I had to use Hand Brake to crank down the encoding to upload the video to YouTube because my stuff was too big. YouTube does all that stuff automatically. If you had to make your video, render your video, code your video, do all that stuff, it’s incredibly time-consuming and expensive. So, they’re not going anywhere.

I’m going to create a Troll Hit Squad. Every time I have a live stream, there are going to be people on the Hit Squad that are going to get 20% off courses and stuff. You have to be an active member of the Hit Squad first. What haters do, because haters are a group of intellectually impotent people, financially impotent people, is they get joy out of destroying something because they can’t build. We are not going to have that.

Question: What’s the best way to finance a media venture?

Answer: Don’t finance it. Create it on your own and go as far as you can before you start throwing money at it.

Physical businesses are the quickest way to make scratch. If you build your physical business, it gives you skills to make money online.

My YouTube channels are segmented. With Personal Development for hustlers, there’s going to be some wild stuff on there. Rich Self Published Author, that channel with be about the writing process. Mack Daddy Media is a video marketing agency.

Writing online is not going anywhere. There’s a lot of older people that still like to read stuff.

When you go to I am Cameron, that is my fuckery channel. I’ll be talking about current events. I’ll be talking about crazy stuff.

Mack Daddy Media is going to be about all things digital. That’s about video marketing. That’ll be about creating courses.

Business School for Hustlers is going to be for seasoned business owners.

Make sure you subscribe to all of the channels because each channel is going to have different stuff. Be sure to get on my email list for updates to live streams and special offers. Subscribe today!

You can set up an ecommerce storefront using a resource like Shopify, then produce videos that fit into your product’s niche. At the end of the videos, you can produce calculated (Call To Action) CTAs that funnel traffic to your product landing pages.

There’s obviously a lot more to it than this, but for all intents and purposes, that’s what the conversion funnel looks like. If you have a good product and your videos are simple and engaging, this funnel will work almost every time.

If your end goal is to actually make money from videos, there’s a far better option than simply relying on your measly allocation of ad revenue or adsense. Instead, create a YouTube channel and build an audience. The primary goal is to engage this audience and build a brand name. Then, once you’ve established a reputation, begin driving traffic to your own landing pages where you can up-sell viewers with premium video content. Attach a blog with corresponding articles and updates to your channel. Have a fly blog writer upload the content for you because she is awesome.

Start Three to Five Youtube Channels. Do you remember what a pen is and how to write with it? Good. Make a list of the following:

1. Things You Like
2. Things You Want To Do
3. Things You’re Good At

My personal three things would be:

1. Talking about Game of Thrones
2. Make my own marinara sauce
3. Writing professionally and creatively

This is your infrastructure. Your foundation. You can even make more youtube channels if you like but it’s good to start out with this premise. Why? Because if you bet on one of these horses one of them will probably win. But you gotta stick with it. Go check out the competition because believe me: all three of my ideas have very successful youtube channels already.

Don’t let the success of other Youtube channels deter you. As you make more videos you’ll hone in your skills. You’ll get better at creating content, video editing, making call to actions within your video. All of it. It takes practice. One of your channels will catch fire and you’ll start making money. You’ll roll in dough. It might not even be the channel you really wanted. I can tell you if I had to my marinara youtube channel started making all the money I wouldn’t be thrilled. Ain’t nobody got time to make—actually I stand corrected. Either way, trial and error is a great way to start.

Don’t tell your audience “I’m not selling anything.” In video marketing you are always selling something. Whether it’s your personality, or a product, or an idea. Hell, even the President is a product—he’s making Youtuber’s lots of money (for better or for worse I’ll let you decide). So if straight out of the gate you say, “I’m not selling anything” or “I’m not here to sell you something” it’s already a lie. Your youtube audience likes it when you’re straight with them so be straight with them. If your content is banging they will buy.

You have to have a lot of grit and entrepreneurial spirit when starting a youtube channel. Especially if you’re doing it for money. But with enough time and practice you can make a livable income off of youtube and then you’ll be teaching other people how to make money from Youtube.

How to Hustle and Make Money – Developing Your Hustle Bones One deal at a Time

How to Hustle and Make Money - Developing Your Hustle Bones One deal at a Time

If you don’t want to read it, you can watch this video.

How do you make your hustle bones shake? To develop hustle bones, you have to get out and hustle. When you first start, your hustle bones are pretty fragile. It won’t take much for you to break an arm or a leg. It’s going to happen. When you fall down and hurt yourself, that’s when your hustle bones grow.

I’ll give you an example. When I first got in the storage auction business, the first few months were horrible. They were terrible. Those people tried to run me off.

There is a storage auction grapevine. They all know each other. They would run up the price and try to run off newcomers. I heard this phone conversation where this guy was calling up the other auction people and instructing them to run up the price on this guy. I was standing right next to him and heard the call.

It wasn’t me that time. It was some other dude they were ganging up on. Hey, I had to choose my side. Either you were with them or against them. I was with them. The people who don’t like you in the beginning will all of a sudden warm up to you and become your friend.

Developing those hustle bones takes trial and error. People want to jump past all the dirty, the crazy, the ugly parts; but that’s an unrealistic expectation. People want to leapfrog over all of that messy stuff and go straight to success. There are a group of people who pull it off, but that’s exceptional. I don’t know any of those people myself. I know they exist.

Everyone I know who has been in business has lost money and made critical errors. Many of them have almost gone out of business because of those errors. While it may not feel like it at the time, it’s the best thing to happen to them because they learn a lot. That’s where the hustle bones come from. For 99.8% of us, it is trial and error that makes you strong. Determination and effort are required to succeed.

One of the first thing you learn early on is that you will begin to get “a feel” for opportunity. You become intuitive. This happens through practice and being out there.

I was in a strange facility years and years ago. There were four of us there. There were four rooms full of shopping carts. Everyone groaned. My hustle bones were going, clack, clack, clack. They were just shaking. So, I am having this private conversation with my hustle bones and other people aren’t interested in the units. They were saying things like, “That’s a lot of stuff. I’m not messing with it.”

The auctioneer looks at me and asked me, “Do you want it?” I said, “Yes, if you’ll give me some time.”

My hustle bones were happy, cheering and doing cartwheels. As I put my lock on, in my head I was questioning my decision. “What did I just do?” I reasoned that trying to resell shopping carts was not a big business because most of them are branded.

As I was leaving the facility, I passed a scrapyard. Then I realized that the shopping carts are metal. The hustle bones started slapping me around. I made a U-turn and went back to the unit and loaded up my truck with carts. I made $300 on just one unit.

The other two units were slightly larger. I made $1000. When you’re out there and you get that feeling or an unexplainable urge, that’s your hustle bones telling you what to do. Part of trusting the hustle bones comes from experience. A lot of times when you’re new and your hustle bones are going crazy, you don’t have the experience and the faith to move forward and to understand what is going on.

Essentially, your hustle bones know more than you do. It takes time for your confidence to catch up with your hustle bones. Everyone has intuition. Men often have an ego that overrides intuition.

I don’t know how many times my hustle bones would warn me not to get on I-285. But, I still would, and then an hour later I’d only be one mile down the road and stuck in traffic. Finally, I started listening and stopped getting on that Interstate. There’s always something happening on I-285. Even late at night, there are no guarantees that traffic won’t be backed up.

You can develop your hustle bones, or instincts. It takes time. You have to put some skin in the game. You have to be out there hustling. You have to go out for the long bomb and fall on your face a few times. Each time you do this, you learn something. The more experiences you have, the better you will be able to relate to your hustle bones.

You’ll have this database of experiences, of deals. You’ll get to the point where you will walk into a situation and know what is going down. It is a process of forward progression.

I remember one time when I was in Dallas, Georgia at this place I’d never been to before. There were like 12 people there. This door goes up and the room looks like hell. My left palm goes crazy and I’m scratching it. This guy notices what I’m doing and tells me, “An itchy palm means you are about to get some money.”

The guy looks at me and wants to know if I want the unit. I got it for $10. I get in there and there are 180 grams of scrap gold plus some other collectibles and stuff. It was a $5K unit that I paid $10 for. My palm knew.

Often in life you get these feelings and you ignore them because you haven’t developed yourself. It’s time today to get your hustle bones together. You have to get started and stick with it. You have to push.

The Secret to Making Money Online in 2017

Making money online is fucking hard. That’s a really good word for it. I’m going to tell you how it really is. I know I was supposed to give you some simple, quick, easy motivational message about what it takes to make money online. There’s been a lot of confusion. There’s been a lot of people who are somewhat really troubled. I do apologize. I don’t have any of that stuff.

If you don’t want to read it, you can watch this video.

If you are really, really interested in making money online, I want you to listen to me. I want you to pay attention because I am going to tell you exactly what you need to do. Work. Work some more. Work tonight. Work tomorrow. Work this weekend. Work next weekend. Work this summer. Work Christmas.

You need to work. One of the things that is really frustrating for me is that I have stuff I can give you, but it’s got to go through this bullshit filter that is so thick. I’ll tell you that you have to work and perhaps you will work for a while and not make any money. When this happens, you’ll think I’m deceiving you. People think they’ll make a lot of money fast and when it doesn’t happen like that – there’s something wrong.

What’s really wrong is your perspective. You can make money online. You can make a lot of money online. But more than likely, before you start making money, you will fail. You will lose money. You will make mistakes. You will drive yourself crazy.

I’ve been making money online since 2000 through various sources like EBay and Amazon. At one point, I was doing a little Etsy.

Making money is not some magical super fraternity where you know a secret handshake and a code where you press a button on the wall. No. It’s not like that.

What you have to do is find something that you like enough to deal with the bullshit that’s going to come with making money online.

I like writing. I fucking hate editing.

I now like making YouTube videos. I used to fucking hate making YouTube videos. There’s so many things that you have to go through to be successful long-term.

Writing a book is fucking hard. You can put a lot of time and effort in it and also spend a lot of money for a great cover, and the shit will not sell.

Then you can wake up one morning and write some shit just for fun, some wild ass shit and throw it on Kindle and it sells like hotcakes. You’ll wonder, how the fuck did that happen. Because it happened to me.

A book that I worked on one day took off under a pen name. It was in the right genre. I’ll give you a secret here. Write your book in a genre where there are a lot of readers already. You can build a genre. It’s hard. That goes back to the work.

You can build a business. You can build a website. I had a guy on here in the Bad Ass Hustlers component and he built a business in a weekend that got to a point where he quit his job in six weeks after building that business.

However, the backstory is very important. He had built businesses before. How many times do I need to tell you this. You need to get started with something.

Now, let’s just cut to the chase of making money online.

#1 – You have to stick with it at least for a year or two. Before we get to that, you have to validate and test to see if your concept will make some money. I’m not saying stick with something for a year or two when nobody’s buying it after a month or two. No. That marketplace is telling you there’s something really wrong with your product or with what you’re doing.

But, you have to stick with it.

Now, let’s talk about how much money you can realistically make online as an inexperienced person. You’ve never been online before. You don’t know what you’re doing. You’ve never built a website. You aren’t interested in building a website. I’m going to say probably $10,000 or $20,000 your first year minus costs. You might be at $5K profit.

Now, let’s crank it up. Say you have web experience. If you’ve been doing EBay or Amazon, you are only marginally better than somebody who has been doing nothing online. In fact, the person who is stupid is maybe 90% ahead of where you are. Granted, you know how to work a system.

When you can sell your products and services from your website or some web asset you control enough to make a living consistently year after year, then you actually know what you are doing.

One of the reasons I believe I was able to be successful fairly quickly is I have fucked up quite bit. I’ve made a lot of mistakes. When you make a mistake, you have to ask yourself this question. Is this fuckup detrimental.

The way the world works today is you can build a company that loses money and still make money. I will tell you I did this the first year. I wasn’t really making any money with the YouTube Channel. I wasn’t making any money with the blog. That first year I made $62K and most of it came in the last three or four months.

I went to Lowe’s. I went to Walmart and to Home Depot and applied for a job. They didn’t even call me back. I was looking for a $10 per hour part-time job just to put a little extra change in my pocket.

So, I started working 24 hours a day, literally to make money online.

When you want to make money online, the first thing you need is a concept. The second thing you have to have is some tenacity. The third thing you have to have is a will to win. Tenacity is just sticking with it.

When you can look up when things are going sideways and say, “I’m still doing this,” that’s when you know you are an entrepreneur. If you keep on going, sooner or later you will make money online.

Can I tell you how much? Nope. I can’t. I can tell you, you will win.

To build a business that supports you in a year or two is not a long time.

If you try to live the dream and chase the dream at the same time, it seems like a really, rough, rough timeframe.

How to Make Money Starting a YouTube Channel in 2017

How to Make Money Starting a YouTube Channel in 2017

If you don’t want to read it, you can watch this video.

When I started on YouTube in 2009, it wasn’t open for everyone to make money from AdSense. I’ve been making money here on YouTube since 2009, because I sell products and services.

Life is funny. When I started my YouTube channel, I didn’t foresee any of the things happening that happened.

This is how I got started. I didn’t have a great camera. I just sat down and I started making videos. It was a little strange, sitting there talking to yourself, by yourself in front of the computer.

My first video was August 6, 2009. It was Hustling Ain’t for Sissies. As I went on I made a lot of videos, a ton of videos. I made so many videos that I became comfortable with the process. It didn’t happen overnight. It was something that took time. I was a storage auction guy for real before the TV shows came on, before all of the hype. That’s something I did for over a decade of my life.

Storage units make money. You buy a unit for $1 or $10 and make $1000. It’s a great way to really maximize your profit.

Another thing that I did was I made a lot of videos. At one point, I was making five videos per day. I just kept cranking them out because the more videos I made, the more traffic I got to my blog. It was amazing. The more traffic I got, the more books I sold. So, over time, my YouTube thing changed quite a bit. I never thought that this channel would have a life of its own.

In the beginning, I hated making videos. In 2009 and 210, I absolutely hated making videos. But there are 1250 videos on this channel now. At some point, the hate became determination. It became fun. It’s fun to make videos now. It’s fun to meet people and interact with them in the comments.

I didn’t see that coming. It was really a huge shock for me because I’m an introvert. I like to be myself and I like to work in private.

I’ve gotten all kind of incredible opportunities because of this YouTube channel. It all started with that horrible first video. It was just terrible.

You can’t begin something without beginning at some place. That was my deal.

So, the cliff notes version of my start in YouTube in 2009 is I uploaded videos. Then, I found out they brought an incredible amount of traffic to my blog which was called Urban Packrat. Don’t look for it. It doesn’t exist anymore.

I would get 10 to 20 hits a day. I started putting up the stories…. The storage auction stories, the Craigslist stories. Then I started getting 200 to 30 hits a day on the blog.

There’s been a great deal of experimentation. There’ s been so much change with the channel. There have been changes in direction, changes in the logo. I really feel like I am just getting started.

So, in 2009, I put videos up. I didn’t know anything about it. The audio was crappy. You see black bars on the side. It was just horrible.

But, like I said, we all have to begin somewhere. Then in 2010, things got a little better. I started to learn some stuff. I started to learn some stuff. I started to make better content. Then, in 2011, that’s the year things just took off.

In 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, it dawned on me I wasn’t buying storage units anymore. The channel was all about that topic, so I started turning the ship. This rubbed some people the wrong way. They said… “Screw you, we’re leaving.”

So, a word of advice for you is if you start a channel and it gets some traction, you can’t change what you’re talking about without losing the first people who came. It happened to me.

Then in 2013 and 2014 I came up with mindset I’ve had for a long time. I named it the Hustler Mindset Project. I started focusing on that, creating classes and courses. Some of the courses were really good. Most of them weren’t. People told me, “We don’t want them.” That was another learning lesson.

My YouTube channel is really different because it has always been based on selling stuff. I’ve never been overly dependent on AdSense because you have to have a tremendous amount of views or a crazy conversion rate to really rock out on AdSense.

The channel has been about selling stuff since 2009 and I’ve become pretty good at it, which wasn’t really easy. In the beginning, I was so excited for the 100 or 200 views because I was also getting 10 or 20 views on my blog. I was extremely excited and became very determined because I liked the results.

Understand, I didn’t like making videos. That didn’t come until almost my third year. It was really cool that I was able to just whip out a shitty camera, start making videos, start making money online with no experience just because I tried something different and new.

That’s what’s really exciting about YouTube. People are talking about Facebook video and other competitors. I don’t really see anyone being a real threat to YouTube at the moment.

There are many people who asked me questions, like is YouTube still good? My translation of this question is, how hard do I have to work? The answer is: Yes, you do. That’s the thing. I’ve watched many people over the years who started off just like I did with 0 views. It takes time.

One of the reasons I’m really excited is because it seems like the 5th or 6th year is when people really take off.

So, if you want to do YouTube, here are some tips. Pick something that you really like or you can appreciate or learn to like.

Always be yourself. That’s one of the benefits of having a channel. You can be doing what you like all day long and you can make money.

Now, how do you make money on YouTube? Many people throw out the answer AdSense. I think that’s the least efficient way to make money. I have monetized videos. But, once again, I have 1250 videos. There’s only 200 videos that make money. The rest of them make no money.

In my opinion, the best way to make money with YouTube is to use it as a lead generation tool. Hands down, YouTube is the best lead generation tool I’ve seen in my life.

What I’m saying is you have to get started. Play around with it. Have fun.

Another way to start it is to start more than one channel at a time. Start three channels at once. I’ve got five channels.

If you really want to start a channel and you have no clue, I’m going to say you should stay in your backyard. You don’t know what’s really going to work until you really start doing it.
