Today we’re going to talk about how to legitimately make quick money. A lot of people are asking me, “Hey Glendon, how can I go from nothing to $3000 a month in 30 or 60 days? How do I go from nothing to $10,000 a month in 90 days?” Then they add, “Don’t charge me anything. I need this information to be free.”
The question is why do people want this kind of stuff. Why do they need it? They crave it. Part of the reason is because people are broke or close to it. Many people who are financially comfortable aren’t really looking to make more money.

Let’s talk about “Drive By Hustlers.” Drive by hustling is like trying to get your money right from 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds. It’s fast, Ferrari fast. That’s what people want.
Let’s examine the reason why so many people want to be “Drive By Hustlers.” They don’t have any money. They don’t have a savings account. They don’t have any financial discipline. They’re not following any financial rules to make wealth.
People say, “It’s got to be quick, quick, quick or my attention span is not going to keep me in that groove to build a proper business.” So, I want to be a Drive By Hustler. It must be possible, because I see all of this “Hustler Porn” all over the internet saying I can be Dry Dick Danny today and Marvelous Marvin in 90 days. I can move from my mother’s house or off my friend’s sofa into a mansion with a Ferrari and some hot chick in 90 days.
Hustler Porn works. It’s an appealing idea for anyone. You didn’t have to go to college. You didn’t have to study hard. But wait. Hold up. It’s only going to cost you $99. Someone’s going to sell you information for $99 that’s going to make you millions of dollars in 90 days. That’s what you see every day. That’s why there is such distrust for people who sell informational products.
Now, let’s get back to reality. It could take you two to ten years to build your first proper business. That’s reality.
Let’s talk about the ten-year journey. That’s where I started. I wanted to be a writer, right? I tried it because I wanted to be a writer. I didn’t have any skills. I didn’t have any connections. Honestly, I wasn’t really that talented.
Then I tried it the second time. I had more skills, but I didn’t have the discipline or the business knowledge. Then I took a ten-year hiatus from writing fiction and started writing copy for Craigslist ads. I was writing hundreds and hundreds of ads.
Little did I know that it was teaching me how to be disciplined because I did it every day. How was I motivated to write those ads? When I wrote the right ads, I made money. It was a very short loop of action that led to results.
Currently, during the hiring process, I am having to learn how to write ads that pull in more people. I’m here at home and there are people interviewing right now. That’s the whole thing about building a system.
People want to make money fast, take shortcuts. It’s true, there are some ways to make money fast. You can hack something. You can get some kind of widget that will make you fast money. Here is the problem with that. They are selling that solution to a lot of other people. Eventually, you are going to experience diminishing results.
That’s how many of the internet gurus make their money. Like I said, some of the stuff may last a few weeks. Some may last a few years. The stuff that lasts a few years is typically more expensive.
Now, one of the new things that I’m rolling out starts next week. The new course is coming out. It is Digital Introductions, which covers cold calling for successful people. It’s not just going to be phone work. It’s going to also explain how to sell stuff via email.
This is how it goes. You set the appointment. It’s hard to sell on the first introduction. Essentially, Digital Introductions is, “Hey, I’m this person and I can help you this way.” I’m going to teach you how to do that with email. I’m going to teach you how to do that in the DMs. I’m going to teach you how to do it on Messaging on Facebook.
While automation can be great, anybody that hates calling up a company and going through voice mail hell, please put that in the comments. I hate that shit. Businesses are moving toward automation, but a lot of people are turned off by it. Employing a personal touch instead can make you millions. With all the movement toward automation, there is a huge hole of opportunity that I’m jumping into. There’s a lot of money on the table.
It’s hard work, but the money is there. For people who embrace customer service with a personal touch, there is so much money. If you build a solid business and you are not a Drive By hustler, you can make millions.
Let’s go back to that 10-year example using me. I was doing storage auctions for ten years. Then “life happened” and I made some changes and I started doing YouTube videos. There are a few things that happen when you build a business legitimately. The first thing that happens is you develop a lot of discipline. The second thing that happens is you develop financial controls. These are things you must have to build a successful business.
You can have a business making $2 million a month, but if you don’t have any discipline or financial controls, you could be out of business at the end of the year. If you grow your business with no financial controls, you are going to have some serious issues.
We had an issue with a website that didn’t work the way it was supposed to. We didn’t have a lot of sales. It was a test website. We took a lot of the information and learned some lessons to build a new website that did not have those problems.
Sometimes you have to start small and take your hits. Businesses need time and don’t typically fit into the microwave hustler niche. After you learn from your mistakes, then you can build on that.
Here’s the thing. You go ahead and take one of those Hustler Porn courses. You think you’re going to make six figures in mere months. The expectation is so out of alignment with reality that even if you win, you’re going to feel like you lost.
If you want to build a business, be prepared to put in a lot of work. Know it will take some time. It will probably take from two to ten years if you start from nothing. Also, be prepared to have some setbacks. If you don’t give up and fall prey to this idea of microwave entrepreneurism, you will build something lasting.
